"Discovering Your True Self Through Creativity: Breaking the Pattern"

When I teach a sip and paint class, I love to get to know my painters. I think it is important to break the ice with each of them in order to get them comfortable enough to be able to paint freely. At the beginning of the class, I sense tension among my painters and that is very normal. I know people are worried about how their painting will end up looking like at the end of the class. It is my job to assure them everything actually comes together very well in the end.

Every class is very special to me. My painters are my ticket to keep doing what I love, spreading the creative spirit. I take pride in their progress and it brings me great joy when I see their faces break into smiles as the class progresses. The class is 2 hours long and it is my job to make sure you leave my class happier and inspired. It's not just a class for me, it's a session where I get to bond with people I have never met before and strengthen my bond with people I am already acquainted with. Every interaction gives me an insight into why I am there at that moment. So next time you attend a class I am teaching, keep in mind that you are not just a number to me. I genuinely feel very thankful that I have the opportunity to share my creative skill with you.

Why do people take a creative class? People do it to break the pattern of the everyday routine, to unwind. A creative class is a great way to spend quality time with your loved ones. We all need to fill our cups, more like charge our batteries and painting, sculpting or drawing are some of the great ways to do it. Making time for yourself is an art. It is very underrated; in fact, slowing down to soak in moments of life is just as important as it is to keeping busy.

There is a very famous quote by Albert Einstein that says, "Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new." Everyone may have varied interpretations of this quote but what my understanding is that it is a great idea to step away from your everyday routine and comfort zone sometimes. You will meet a new part of yourself in the process.

I hope to see you all in my next class. Until then, don't forget to make time for yourself and keep growing...
