Paint Party Terms & Conditions

The following Terms of Service (the “Agreement”) outline the terms and conditions that apply to Private Party deposits and events, Class Reservations or any other transaction with Canvas & Brushes LLC. By using our services, you agree to the terms of this Agreement. Please keep a copy of this Agreement for your records. Our minimum painter requirement is 5 and maximum is 25.

I. Cancellation Policy

A. Public Classes: Public classes are non-refundable. If you cannot make it for a class, kindly notify us at least 24 hours prior to the event and you will receive one class credit. No shows are not eligible for a refund or class credit.

B. Private Parties: Deposits for private paint parties can be fully refunded if we are notified at least 14 days prior to the event otherwise you will only receive $25 of the $50 deposit back.

II. Non-painter Policy
A paid or complementary reservation is required for all guests. Non-painting guests are not allowed for public classes and are discouraged, but may be allowed, for private parties at the discretion of the private party organizer.

III. Time and Head Count

The headcount needs to be confirmed at least 3 days prior to the Paint Party so preparation can be done in accordance. Once the headcount has been agreed, the host is responsible for the payment  of the agreed headcount whether the painters show up or not. The host can keep the unpainted canvases if the agreed number do not show up.

Set up for a private paint party takes between 40 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes depending on the number of painters and therefore, our art instructor will arrive up to 75 minutes prior to the start time so the class can begin on time and this will be discussed with the organizer beforehand.  Starting later than the start time will not allow for extra time since the allocated time for painting is 2 hours, the class will be only 2 hours long starting from the start time agreed with the organizer.

In order for us to set up accordingly and bring enough supplies for the class, we require a final head count at least 24 hours prior to the event. If we start setting up for a painter after a class has already begun, do note that it does take time away from the actual paint class. Clean up takes between 15 to 20 minutes depending on the number of painters and this is done after the class.

IV. Location of the Paint Party

Before we agree to conduct a paint party, we need to know whether the party will be indoors or outdoors so we can arrange to transport our supplies to the site accordingly. If the paint party is outdoors, the organizer has to consider the weather and make arrangements accordingly. Rain, wind and too much heat need to be taken into consideration if you are thinking of painting outdoors. Please make sure there is enough shade if it is outdoors, we cannot provide tents (This would be the organizer's responsibility). The organizer has to make sure they also consider lighting and make sure the venue has enough lighting so the painters can see what they are painting.

V. Photos and Videos

Our Art Instructor will take photos and videos occasionally during the class. You will be asked whether you are okay with it since they will be used solely on our social media accounts such as Instagram and Facebook as well as our website. If you do not wish to have your photo or video taken, we will respect your wishes.

Read the terms and conditions and agree to them
